As the only military service organization dedicated exclusively to the Reserve Components, ROA is your advocate in fighting for the policies, resources, and statutory authorities that sustain their readiness. Through relentless engagement with Congress and the Administration, ROA ensures the Reserve Components remain equipped, manned, and postured to meet the operational demands of national security.

DUTY STATUS REFORM
The RC operates under more than 30 duty statuses, resulting in inequitable benefits, administrative complexity, and readiness impacts. ROA is advocating to solve this.
RC EQUIPMENT MODERNIZATION
RC equipment modernization significantly trails the Active Component. ROA is fighting in Congress to help close that gap.
RC PAY EQUITY
The average drilling reservist works more than a hundred hours a year that they aren’t getting paid for. ROA is supporting three bills to fix this pay disparity.

ROAD builds the expertise, experience, and engagement to shape legislation, not just respond to it. Strategize with ROA’s Director, Legislation and Military Policy; set and take meetings; host events; and amplify the voice of the Reserve Components across your networks. ROAD is the advocacy reserve force of ROA National.
