Increases the differential wage payment tax credit for employers of reserve component service members from 20 to 50 percent and from up to $20,000 per employee to up to $20,000 per employee indexed by inflation. H.R.3668/S.1670, TRICARE Fairness for National Guard and Reserve Retirees Act [Support]*
Allows "gray area" retirees receiving retirement pay to opt-out of TRICARE Retired Reserve and enroll in TRICARE for Life. H.R.3943, Servicemember Employment Protection Act [Support]*
Modernizes USERRA by providing additional legal protections and pathways to plaintiffs and eligible employees. H.R.4220/S.2046, Dental Care for Our Troops Act [Support]
Provides zero-cost dental care through the TRICARE Dental Program for all Selected Reserve members. H.R.4221, Healthcare for Our Troops Act [Support]*

Revises the definition of uniformed services to provide readmission protection to reserve component service members enrolled in an institution of higher education.

Allows reserve component members who spend 30 or more consecutive days on active-duty for training to qualify for the VA Home Loan program. H.R.7323, MGIB-SR Tuition Fairness Act [Support] Directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to disapprove courses of education offered under the Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve that are not charged at the in-state tuition rate regardless of the enrollee's state of residence.
