Extends the Work Opportunity Tax Credit to employers that hire active-duty military spouses.

H.R.1282/S.344, Major Richard Star Act [Support]*

Allows Chapter 61 retirees to concurrently receive VA disability compensation and military retirement pay.

H.R.2597/S.1095, Reserve Component Parental Leave Parity Act [Support] [Enacted in FY 24 NDAA]

Provides full parental leave parity between components by giving reserve component parents adopting a child or accepting the placement of a child for long-term foster care 12 weeks of leave.

H.R.2935/S.1755, Sergeant First Class Michael Clark TRICARE Reserve Parity Act [Support] [Enacted in FY 24 NDAA]

Extends TRICARE Reserve Select coverage to all survivors of reserve component service members from six months to three years.

H.R.3253, Reservist Pay Equity Act [Support]*

Increases the differential wage payment tax credit for employers of reserve component service members from 20 to 50 percent and from up to $20,000 per employee to up to $20,000 per employee indexed by inflation.

H.R.3668/S.1670, TRICARE Fairness for National Guard and Reserve Retirees Act [Support]*

Allows "gray area" retirees receiving retirement pay to opt-out of TRICARE Retired Reserve and enroll in TRICARE for Life.

H.R.5114, Giving Reservists a Valiant Eternity Act [Support]

Allows all reserve component service members to receive a headstone or grave marker at their burial site.

Amends USERRA to prohibit the use of binding arbitration agreements.

Allows reserve component service members traveling 50 or more miles to drill weekend(s) to annually deduct the travel costs and expenses from their taxes.

Allows reserve component members who spend 30 or more consecutive days on active-duty for training to qualify for the VA Home Loan program.
