Welcome to the home page of the Walla Walla Chapter of the Washington Department Reserve Officers Association
Your dues and other monetary support provided to the Reserve Officer Association ensures the organizations ability to continue it’s work in serving as the nation’s leading advocate for members of the Reserve Components, their families, and veterans of the Reserve force. Reserve service members face the unique burdens of balancing civilian and military commitments. Over the past ten years our nation's Reserve Components have become essential to the capability of America’s total force – adaptable, operational, and battle-tested.
What happens at the National level is often invisible to those at the local level, the Chapter level. However, that does not mean we don’t also have an important role to play in honoring the contributions made by our reserve members and their families as well as helping to remember those who have come before us so they are not forgotten.
The Walla Walla Chapter is building outreach to all organizations, those for profit and not for profit, those that are public and private, with the intent to promote the understanding and appreciation of those who currently serve and of those whose contributions have given us the freedoms we so dearly enjoy today. Our focus is more local, but it is just as important.
If you are a veteran, you are encouraged to consider becoming part of the team standing ready to support our military forces. The ROA membership is made up of non-commissioned, warrant, and commissioned officers of the uniformed services of the United States — Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, National Guard, Air National Guard, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and NOAA.
Check out the list of Chapter Officers and feel free to contact any of them if your want more information on the Reserve Officers Association.
