Registration Fees

The earlier you register for this event the more you will save. Become an ROA member and save even more! ROA members, be sure to log into the website to receive your discount.

  • The registration fee is $980. ROA members pay only $880!
  • Register by midnight 27 March and save $110.
  • Register by midnight 24 May and save $55.

All registrations must be received by midnight 24 July. Registration fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may occur if the registration can be transferred to another attendee.

Passport Information and Date of Birth

During the registration process you will be asked for your passport and date of birth. This information will not be required to complete your registration process. It will, however, be necessary to provide that information prior to your trip. If you do not provide this information during registration, you will be contacted by CAPT David Epstein to collect the information.

See the US State Department notice on passport validity in the Schengen zone of Europe. If your passport will expire before 1 March 2018, you are advised to replace it prior to travel. Click here for more info. Schengen includes most western and central European countries except the United Kingdom. The Schengen territory includes the Czech Republic (CIOR) and Poland (CLA). It is what has generally permitted us to travel from one European country to another without stopping for passport checks. Notwithstanding the current situation with refugee movements, Schengen remains in effect, although passport checks are applied selectively.

Optional Tours


Prague Castle and Old Town - Price: $72

Monday 31 July or Wednesday 2 August. Both options are 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Our guide will take you by coach to Prague Castle, then you walk. During this tour you visit Prague Castle - the Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George‘s Basilica and Golden Lane. Our guide will highlight all important historical details of Prague Castle’s role in Czech history. After the visit you will descend the castle stairs to the Lesser Town and continue walking towards Charles Bridge and Old Town Square where the tour terminates and the coach will pick you up or you decide to stay in the city. Price includes transport, entrance fee to Prague Castle, English guide.


Prague Jewish Quarter and Old Town - Price: $72

Tuesday, 1 August or Thursday, 3 August. Both options are 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

During this tour you will visit the only Jewish municipal area in Central Europe which survived the Holocaust. Walk through the Old Town Cemetery, visit some of the surviving synagogues and learn about the Jewish history. Walk through Maisel Street to the Old Town Square where the tour terminates and the coach will pick you up or you decide to stay in the city. Price includes transport, entrance fee to Jewish quarter, English guide.


Karlštejn Castle - Price: $99

Monday, 31 July, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Visit Karlstejn Castle, built in the 14th century by the Czech king and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. At that time the castle housed the treasures of the Holy Roman Empire including the imperial coronation jewels. Due to the location of the castle this tour is more physically demanding and good walking shoes are recommended. Price includes transport, entrance fee to the castle, English guide, lunch.


Terezin Memorial - Price: $99

Tuesday 1 August, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

A dark and tragic place in the history of Europe, scene of the extermination of many thousands of innocent victims. A reminder of the horrors of the Second World War – this is Terezin, one of the Nazi concentration camps. Our guide will show you the area of the concentration camp and you will hear authentic recollections of former inmates. Visits to this place serve as a stark warning to prevent the recurrence of similar horrors in future. Price includes transport, entrance fee to the memorial, English guide, lunch.


Kutná Hora - Price: $110

Wednesday, 2 August, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Kutna Hora is a mediaeval mining town founded in the 13th century and famous for its silver mines. Visit the unique gothic Cathedral of St Barbora with its precious wall paintings, former Royal Mint which used to produce the Prague groschen and the unique Ossuary. Kutna Hora has preserved its mediaeval town character to date and is rightfully included on the UNESCO list of the most important cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. Price includes transport, entrance fees, English guide, lunch.


Pilsen Brewery - Price: $121

Thursday 3 August, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Join us to learn about the history and secrets behind making the legendary Pilsner Urquell lager. You can see the actual spot in the brewery where Pilsner Urquell beer has been brewed using the same recipe since 1842. The tour of the Pilsner Urquell brewery would not be complete without a visit to the historic brewery cellars carved into the rock, where you can taste unfiltered and unpasteurized Pilsner Urquellon tap straight from oak lager barrels. We shall guide you through our modern bottling plant, with its capacity of 120,000 bottles per hour; a unique exposition on the ingredients we use; and the historic and modern Pilsner Urquell brewhouse. Price includes transport, entrance fees, English guide, lunch and beer




Public transportation

You can reach Hotel International Prague by tram nr. 8 and from the city centre (Republic Square/“Náměstí Republiky”) or from the subway station “Dejvická” (Victory Square /“Vítězné náměstí”). It´s important to follow the direction to “Podbaba” final stop. Leave the tram at the tram stop “Zelená” or at the final stop “Podbaba”.

From Vaclav Havel airport Prague

Take the bus no. 119 from the Prague Airport to the stop “Nádraží Veleslavín”. Here you change to the metro line A in direction to “Depo Hostivař” and step out at the metro stop “Dejvicka” where you change to bus 107, 116, 160 or 147 and go to the stop “Čínská” which is situated right opposite to the hotel entrance.

From railway station:

From Masarykovo Prague Main Railway Station - Underground C (red line) station Hlavní Nádraží direction Háje, change at Muzeum (1 stop) into Underground A (green line) direction Devická until the final stop. There you may walk down Jugoslávských partyzánů street or take bus No. 107 until Podbaba station. You will find the hotel on your left-hand side.

From Holešovice Railway Station - Underground C (red line) station Nádraží Holešovice direction Háje, change at Muzeum (4 stops) into Underground A (green line) direction Devická until the final stop. There you may walk down Jugoslávských partyzánů street or take Tram No 8, for two stops until Zelená station. You will find the hotel on your left-hand side.
