Recommended dress for all meetings and welcome reception is business casual. Members in uniform are expected to adhere to the grooming, physical and uniform standards of their respective services. The ROA Banquet is formal/black tie.
Resolutions recommended by departments, service sections, and standing committees will be considered by the convention body. To be properly filed, a resolution must be received in the prescribed format at National Headquarters no later than Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Resolutions recommended by the National Resolutions Committee for presentation to the national convention will be provided to delegates. Every member is encouraged to apply to their department leadership to become a delegate. Delegates cast votes on behalf of their department on issues such as resolutions, proposed changes to the constitution and bylaws, and the election of national officers. To find out who your department leader is, visit your department’s group webpage or contact Ashika Grimes at email@example.com or (202) 646-7700.
Departments should submit their completed delegate reporting form to national headquarters no later than September 17, 2018. Convention delegates will elect new national leadership during the convention. The following national positions are open: President-Elect (two-year term), Executive Committeeman Army (two-year term), Executive Committeeman Air Force (two-year term), Executive Committeeman Naval Services (two-year term), and Executive Committeeman Naval Services (one-year term to fill unexpired term of John Rothrock).
Be sure to check the “Candidates’ Corner” regularly to read about the endorsed members running for office.
To be considered for an elected office, you must be endorsed by your Department. A letter signed by your department president or secretary should be sent to Diane Markham (email@example.com or 1 Constitution Ave NE, Washington DC 20002).

- Rental Cars - Rental car counters are located near Door #3. Ready car spaces are located in the Canopy Lot (south of the terminal), and are accessed via a complementary shuttle that picks up customers on the median at Door #3. For more information call 402-346-2466.
- From East: I-80 west to I-29 North to I-480 West into Omaha. Dodge St. exit, right onto 10th. Go four blocks to Cass Street and turn left. Hotel is on the left.
- From West: I-80 east to I-480 east to 14th St. exit. Left at Capitol Street. Go four blocks to 10th St., turn left. Go two blocks north to Cass St., turn left. Hotel is on left.
- From North: I-29 South to I-480 West to Dodge St. exit, turn right on 10th St. Go four blocks north to Cass St., turn left. Hotel is on the left.
- From South: I-29 North to I-480 west, take Dodge St. exit, turn right on 10th St. Go four blocks to Cass St., turn left. Hotel is on the left.
