ROA acknowledges the importance of industry and their contributions to national security.  Recognizing that there are opportunities where our collaborative efforts will have an overall positive impact on accomplishing our respective missions and advocating strong National Security and viable Reserve Components, ROA launched the Industry STARs Program in January 2004. 

ROA depends on its STARs to help us stay abreast of the newest technologies, research, and changes taking place in the government and defense industry marketplace. In turn, ROA continuously strives to provide networking opportunities, enhance communications, and assist in planning research and development to meet future military requirements, and to increase our partners knowledge of the Reserves, its requirements, and the business opportunities that exist.  

ROA understands and appreciates that a measurable return on investment is needed to justify allocating resources to programs such as this. Therefore, participation in the Program has been designed to accommodate a limited number (18-24) companies so that we can provide customized services also centered on your goals and objectives. Industry partners are considered and selected based on ROA’s Congressional charter, mission and strategic goals, and a company’s presence, credibility, and/or potential in serving the Reserve Component market.
