Sustain Retirement Benefits Resolution No. 10-29
WHEREAS, an adequately manned force is necessary to ensure our nation's combat readiness;
WHEREAS, the retirement benefit package plays an important part in retaining quality personnel in the uniformed services; and
WHEREAS, there are continuing attacks on these earned benefits; and
WHEREAS, reduction of these promised benefits by the government is a breach of faith and adversely affects our nation's military force structure and combat readiness;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Reserve Officers Association of the United States, chartered by Congress, urge the Congress to support and sustain all earned benefits for all uniformed services retirees.
