The Reserve Officers Association's (ROA) future is built on its past efforts. Key to ROA's legislative activity is its history of letter writing. Past letters are a prime example of ROA at work on behalf of its members.

3/17/2004 - Letter on Russian Lease vs C-5 Upgrades
The letter was sent to the chair and co-chair of the defense committees dealing with airlift. ROA is concerned that the lease of Russian aircraft signifies a shortage of U.S. owned airlift at a time when the service is in the process of retiring C-5A aircraft that could be modernized and kept in the fleet for several decades.
