WHEREAS, Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) programs make significant contributions to meeting the Reserve Component's' wartime requirements and peacetime operations; and
WHEREAS, IMA programs provide trained individuals to augment, upon mobilization, Active component organizations that have wartime requirements above their peacetime strength authorizations; and
WHEREAS, for example, most IMAs in the Army Reserve are compensated for only 12 days of annual training each year, with no IDT pay authorized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Reserve Officers Association of the United States, chartered by Congress support legislation, policies, procedures and funding for all Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) programs to fully meet the strength and training levels of 100 percent of the validated authorized positions of the Armed Services.
