2008 ROA National Convention

Gala Opening Ceremony honors those “doughboys” and “Flyboys" of bygone eras”
The Georgia "Peach State Patriot" Department is excited about hosting this years Convention and plan to make it the best in years, starting with a high-energy Wednesday night gala ceremony. It will be a bang-up patriotic event featuring music by a U.S. Military band honoring the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Army Reserve, and the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force Reserve—and all registered Convention attendees are invited. The evening includes an audio-visual presentation honoring the proud histories of the Army and Air Force Reserves, “Southern cookin’—Georgia style, a great dance band, and don’t be surprised if you run into a doughboy from WWI or a flyboy from the WWII. Local ROTC units will be attending, wearing a variety of vintage military uniforms in honor of the Army and Air Force Reserves. More information is available at:
