Iran: The Threat to Israel and its Neighbors

Amidst growing turmoil in the Middle East, the threat that Iran poses to Israel and its neighbors in the region cannot be understated. Moreover, the potential maturation of Iranian nuclear technology has elevated the stakes of this conflict to an unprecedented level. On March 24, the Defense Education Forum (DEF) of the Reserve Officers Association (ROA) will host a multi-panel conference of national security and foreign policy experts to address the broad range of issues associated with this regional and international threat. Panelists will assess the scope of the issues within broad and specific contexts, to include; options for U.S. and allied response, a discussion of internal Iranian politics as well as the ramifications of potential WMD proliferation in the region.
