Fort Hood Victim Honored:
 Eva Waddle receives a flag from Maj. Gen. Robert J. Kasulke, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Command and ROA National Surgeon, during the burial service for her daughter Army Lt. Col. Juanita Warman at Arlington National Cemetery Nov. 23. Lt. Col. Warman was serving on active-duty at Ft. Hood when she was shot and killed during a shooting rampage. LEGISLATION AND MILITARY POLICY: ROA Advocates for Returning Vets' Medical Needs Injured Citizen Warriors separated from active duty who still need medical treatment are finding that they don’t have protection they need under the current USERRA law. H.R.466, Wounded Veteran Job Security Act, passed by the House, attempts to correct this disparity.

ROA Meets With CBO on Early Retirement ROA met with representatives from the Congressional Budget Office to discuss how the correction to early retirement would cost $2.1 billion over ten years. ROA provided feedback to CBO on how they might improve their calculations.
