Your Help is Needed To Gain Support for Senate Early Retirement Section 660
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is going into Conference. Section 660 of the Senate's version of the NDAA fixes the current early retirement law extending eligibility to Sept. 11, 2001, and would change the current law which only credits these mobilizations in support of a contingency operation that commenced on or after Jan. 28, 2008.

Senate Votes for 10 C-17s
Your efforts made a difference! The Senate voted Tuesday night to maintain funding for 10 C-17 Globemaster IIIs in its final version of the FY2010 Defense Appropriations Bill. We expect the House and Senate to quickly conference and resolve differences; the House version of the bill provides funding for only three C-17s.
