Memorial Day Message from the ROA President "Abraham Lincoln once said, 'We here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain. That the nation shall have a new birth of freedom. And that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.' I ask that the members of the Reserve Officers Association pause this Memorial Day and remember those who have gone before us and gave the ultimate sacrifice. It is a tribute to their memory and a reflection of President Lincoln's statement that ROA is a strong national security advocate and a reputable force in defense education. Thank you for your service." -- Ladd Pattillo, Colonel, USA (Ret.), ROA National President
