| General Craig McKinley, Chief of the National Guard Bureau, at House Guard & Reserve Caucus Breakfast | On Tuesday, March 17, Army and Marine green mixed with Air Force, Coast Guard and Navy blue as nearly 200 people gathered for the annual House Guard and Reserve Caucus breakfast, hosted by Representatives Gene Taylor (D-Miss.) and Steve Buyer (R-Ind.) This was an opportunity for the Reserve Chiefs of each service to express their top concerns in a round robin. Over a dozen members of Congress attended the breakfast, which was cosponsored by ROA and eight other associations.

ROA News: 2009 CIOR/CIOMR Congress The 62nd Congress of the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers and the 63rd Congress of the Interallied Confederation of Medical Reserve Officers will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria August 4-8. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Army Navy Country Club Changes Reservist Dues Structure Previously, Reservists wishing to join the Army Navy Country Club near the Pentagon had to pay the "other" rates. The club recently announced Reservists will receive the lower Active Duty rate. ANCC is a private, member-owned recreation facility founded in 1924. The Club draws its membership primarily from serving and retired commissioned U.S. military officers. - Click here for more information
