Last Friday, President Obama challenged the private sector to hire or train 100,000 unemployed veterans or their spouses by the end of 2013. This week the White House released a comprehensive list of private sector companies who will engage in the initiative.

The Veterans Campaign is the first ever non-partisan, non-ideological organization whose mission is to train veterans running for public office. On October 22-23, 2011, the Veterans Campaign will hold a two-day "boot camp" training workshop at George Washington University in Washington, DC.

FEMA is seeking former CWOs and senior NCOs for Task Force 15.
This Task Order will provide support to The Exercise Unit (TED-EX) for FEMA's internal exercise program. Task Force 15 will operate at FEMA HQ in Washington, DC, and is estimated to begin October 2011.
