Members Named to Congressional Supercommittee for Fiscal Issues Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday that Sens. John Kyl (R-Ariz.), Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), and Rob Portman (R-Ohio) will serve on the commission. Reps. Dave Camp (R-Mich.), Fred Upton (R-Mich.) and Jeb Hansarling (R-Texas) will represent House Republicans. They will join Sens. John Kerry (D-Mass.), Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Max Baucus (D-Mont.), whom Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid appointed to the commission on Tuesday. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has not yet made her appointments.

Tim Walz's staff, as well as other elected and appointed officials and industry leaders to confer on best responses to the upcoming discussions on how to reduce the deficit and how it might affect the Reserve Components. ROA was the only military or veteran service organization in attendance. ROA will also be working with Rep. Walz's office on improvements to USERRA.
