ROA Meets with National Guard
ROA met this past week with legislative liaisons from the National Guard offices to discuss purple issues, equipment and modernization needs, employment and other issues.
ROA Meets with Sen. Isakson
ROA and former Secretary of the Army, The Hon. Martin Hoffman met with Senator Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) to discuss ROA’s top legislative issues including veteran status, early retirement and alternative treatments for treating traumatic brain injury.
ROA and REA Welcome New Interns
ROA’s summer interns include Courtney Whiteman with the legislative team, Blaine McAllister with business operations, Ryan Shaw with the Service Members’ Law Center, and Patricia Contic with REA. Each summer ROA and REA hire interns who assist with daily operations, attend meetings and events, complete various projects, and have the opportunity to publish an article in THE OFFICER. Typically interns come from the Washington Scholars Program and the Washington Internship Institute. |
