Advocacy: ROA Meets with Connect Veterans
Connect Veterans focuses on assisting veterans with employment by providing guidance on resumes, cover letters, networking, and the job search. Connect Veterans and similar organizations are working to address the high unemployment rates of veterans and Reserve Component members.

TRICARE Young Adult Rules Published

The new TRICARE for Young Adults (ages 18-25) interim rules have been published in the Federal Register. Standard coverage is retroactively available from the first of the year with the DoD goal for enrollment as some time in May, with reimbursement available for documented medical costs. TRICARE Prime will become available Oct. 1.

ThanksUSA College Scholarships for Military Spouses and Children
ThanksUSA is accepting applications until May 15, 2011. Last year, 256 scholarships were awarded.
