ROA meets with staff of Rep. Latham ROA met with the staff of Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa) Monday to kick off the legislative year. Pending legislation discussed included improving tax deductions for non-reimbursed training expenses, veteran status for Reserve retirees, funding yellow ribbon, the re-employment environment and a possible hearing on USERRA. Latham will be receiving ROA's Minuteman of the Year award for 2010 for his work on TRICARE Reserve Select and improvements to early retirement.

The Air National Guard will begin flying a newly assigned Critical Care Air Transport Team mission from Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
