ROA meets with staff of Rep. Latham ROA met with the staff of Rep. Tom Latham (R-Iowa) Monday to kick off the legislative year. Pending legislation discussed included improving tax deductions for non-reimbursed training expenses, veteran status for Reserve retirees, funding yellow ribbon, the re-employment environment and a possible hearing on USERRA. Latham will be receiving ROA's Minuteman of the Year award for 2010 for his work on TRICARE Reserve Select and improvements to early retirement.
ROA represents Military Coalition on Tax credits ROA legislative team met with Senator Kerry’s office and discussed tax incentives for employers of deployed Reserve Component members and employment of Active and Reserve combat veterans.
