ROA Briefed at the White House Over two hours at the White House ROA was briefed on President Obama's energy, economic, domestic and health care policies. Under President Kayye there has been increased communication with the White House, which ROA hopes to improve upon in the coming year.
Post-9/11 GI Bill Improvements The Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Improvements Act of 2010 was passed by both chambers of Congress and is awaiting President Obama’s signature. While it makes many improvements, Title 14 eligibility was not included.

RADM Kayye and MG Bockel attended a week-long U.S. War Veterans Educational Seminar in Israel where they visited various sites ranging from military installations to disputed borders with hostile countries. While there they visited a kibbutz on the border with Gaza, a Jewish settlement on the West Bank, army and air force installations, border outposts, and historical sites. The trip was sponsored by the American Israel Education Foundation.
