 Retired Maj. Gen. David R. Bockel,
executive director of ROA, visits the Gettysburg battlefield with expert
guides provided by the U.S. Army War College as part of the College's
2010 Distance Learning residency final week. ROA recently produced a white paper
which advocates for distant education students receiving Joint
Professional Military Education credit on the same level as resident

ROA Attends Reception for Navy Reservist Elected to Senate ROA attended the swearing-in reception of the newest member of the Senate, Mark Kirk (R-Ill.). Kirk is a drilling Navy Reserve commander and a past member of ROA. Also in attendance were Chief of the Navy Reserve VADM Dirk Debbink, VADM John Cotton (Ret.), and members from CDR Kirk's current and past Reserve units. |
