ROA Convention Moves Forward Amidst DC Blizzard Despite the blizzard in Washington DC, ROA's convention went forward as planned. Attendance was over 500 registrants. If you registered, but cancelled with Erika Interiano by Feb. 7, ROA will give a full refund. New ROA Charter's Redline Presented Rep. Howard Coble's (R-NC) legislative director was on hand at the convention to present ROA with the redline version of the Reserve Officers Association Modernization Act of 2009 signed by the President, updating ROA’s congressional charter for the 21st century.

HISTORY: Feb. 12, 1973 - The release of U.S. POWs begins in Hanoi as part of Operation Homecoming. The first 20 POWs arrived to a hero's welcome at Travis Air Force Base in California Feb. 14. The last of the 591 American POWs returned home in March of that year.
