Purpose:

To provide an orientation focused on the organization and mission of the Department of Defense and the various Military Services. This program will also touch on the Department of Veterans Affairs and legislative issues of special interest to the Reserve Components.

Who Should Attend:

Capitol Hill staff that are military legislative assistants or with otherwise assigned tasks which require them to have a basic knowledge of military and veterans issues. |

The Reserve Officers Association (ROA); which represents the Nation's uniformed military officers who are serving or have served in the Reserve Components. Within ROA, the Defense Education Forum (DEF), conducts a broad variety of national security related programs in a non-partisan fashion.
