CORRECTIONS: 1/12/10: THE INTERSECT
ROA apologizes to its members for two articles that slipped through our editing review this week
Item #1 The article on Defense Appropriations spending was too partisan and published by a partisan publication. While factual, it crossed the line of ROA being a non-partisan organization.
Item #2 was a column that has been published on a number of blogs. This article, which suggest that Congress is threatening TRICARE For Life coverage, uses information from a viral e-mail that is over a year old, and based on some inaccurate assumptions. ROA regrets that its inclusion has aroused new anxieties among members during the closing weeks of the debate on a National Health Care plan, however ROA Headquarters has learned that a promised military and veterans health care exemption is not as extensive as originally promised.
