PURPOSES OF THE RESERVE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
Chartered by Congress:
Public Law 595 of the 81st Congress, second session, was "An Act to Incorporate the Reserve Officers Association of the United States." This act established the objective of ROA: "...support and promote the development and execution of a military policy for the United States that will provide adequate National Security." President Harry S Truman, one of the early members of ROA, signed the charter on June 30, 1950.

UPCOMING EVENTS - OHIO ROA COUNCIL MEETING Saturday 2 March 2013 - 1000 hrs DEPARTMENT OF OHIO 88th ROA & 63Rd ROAL CONVENTION Friday 3 MAY - Sunday 5 MAY 2013 The Department of Ohio 88th ROA and 63rd ROAL Annual Convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Blue Ash in Cincinnati, OH. The Convention is being hosted by ROA Cincinnati Navy Chapter 71 and COL Alfred Gus Karger Chapter 07. CAPT Frank Mendralski, USN Ret and LTC Robert Knueven, AUS Ret are the Convention Co-Chairman. The Convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Cincinnati Blue Ash 5901 Pfieffer Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
