JOINT BOARD MEETING - 2nd MONDAY of MONTH - Cincinnati Navy and Alfred Gus Karger Chapters normally hold joint board meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month. The board meetings are normally held at the home of CAPT Mendralski or CDR James Bodmer. Members desiring to get involved are invited to attend. Contact CAPT Frank T. The two Cincinnati Chapters (Alfred Gus Karger Chap 7 and Cincinnati Navy Chap 71) sponsored four cadets/midshipmen this year, one Army Cadet from Xavier University, one Navy Midshipman from Miami University, one Air Force and one Army Cadet from the University of Cincinnati. We provided transportation to Washington through the Blizzard, arriving safely, spending Saturday night at the Navy Lodge and arriving at 0945 at the Washington Hilton to commence the Convention & Seminar. Letters have been sent out to all JROTC Units in Ohio with a deadline for submission. All applications submitted will be reviewed and the JROTC Award Winner selected during the month of December 2012. JROTC Runner Up Awards will also be selected from the applications submitted. The results will be posted after the Winner is selected.
