Chapter 63 of the Reserve Officers Association of the U. S. meets on the fourth Saturday of the month at the Holiday Inn (formerly the San Jose Wyndham Hotel) located at 1350 North First Street, San Jose, CA. The Chapter supports the Army ROTC Bronco Detachment at Santa Clara University (e.g., see Frank Holt Scholarship in Documents) and the Air Force ROTC Unit at San Jose State University as well as JROTC units at High Schools in Santa Clara Valley
Chapter 63 is pleased to announce the presentation by the Department of the Golden West of the Ben Franklin Award for outstanding contributions to excellence on Journalism. See the Documents section for the citation. The next Luncheon Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 2013. The speaker is Prof. Scott Norwood whose topic is "Roman Armies created an empire that changed the world." He is professor emeritus at San Jose State University, and a Russian affairs analyst and lecturer. His academic research includes International Business, Contemporary Russian Studies, etc. See Documents section for a more extensive bio.
