FOR CHAPTER LOCATIONS AND CONTACTS SEE NEWS PAGES! The Reserve Officers Association (ROA) is a membership association dedicated to providing a voice for Reserve Component service members of all the uniformed services. Chartered by Congress and in existence since 1922, ROA advises and educates the Congress, the President, and the American people on national security, with unique expertise on issues that affect the 1.5 million men and women now serving in America’s Reserve Components. ROA membership is open to all federally commissioned officers, warrant officers, and their spouses, from the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Navy, and Marine Corps, U.S. Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. ROA supports the enlisted through a concurrent organization Reserve Enlisted Association. ROA has played a pivotal and intrinsic role in shaping the Reserve Component working tirelessly to address the needs of service members across the entire Component. This organization has brought the current medical, leave, education, to name a few, changes improving and protecting the active and retired Reservist. Through advocacy and education, ROA provides strategic education to key audiences on the value of the Reserve Components and through targeted advocacy to appropriate policy makers. ROA is a dynamic association with dedicated members and staff making this work possible. ROA's focus is intended to reflect the current environment in which our members serve. Legislative goals are member-driven. Our Department has Chapters located throughout the state providing local fraternal interaction of fellow reservists. October and April of every year we have a Department Conference/Convention to enjoy fellowship, exchange ideas, and form a collective voice to the National Office. We in the Sunshine state welcome you to join YOUR organization and the camaraderie associated with our valuable role within the US Armed Forces.
