DEPARTMENT CONVENTION 12-13 JULY 2013
SAVE THE DATES 12-13 JULY 2013 The specifics haven’t been completed, but the date/place for the Department of New Mexico Convention has been decided. The Convention will be held in Albuquerque at the Uptown Marriott, I-40 and Louisiana Blvd, 12-13 July 2013. The current planning includes a Reception Friday evening, 12 July, with the Convention Business meeting being held Saturday, 13 July from 0800-1500 and will include a buffet luncheon. For those that may be coming from outlying areas and want help with hotel reservations, you can contact me directly. This will be very important Convention for the Department of New Mexico and quite possibly the entire Reserve Officers Association. Details on that will be addressed in a later correspondence. This also is the Convention Cycle where the Department will be “ELECTING OFFICERS” for the Department and we are in need of “CANDIDATES”. All Department Offices will be considered open, the following is a list of the Elected officers; President Executive Vice President National Councilman Vice President(s) Army, Air Force, and Naval Services Treasurer Secretary In addition there are other Committee Chairs that are appointed that “need” to be filled, so if you are not interested an elected position, there are many opportunities to be of “SERVICE” to the Department!
