The Defense Education Forum (DEF) of the Reserve Officers Association and invite you to attend:
Major Themes in CIA History
In 1947, Congress passed the National Security Act signed by President Harry S. Truman establishing the Central Intelligence Agency. After 65 years of serving as the prime agency to provide national security intelligence to senior US policymakers, the CIA has a robust and fascinating history. Chief Historian of the CIA, David Robarge, will deliver remarks on the major themes and events that have shaped the CIA into what it is today. Speaking on a wide array of topics, Robarge will give unique insight into the CIA. Following his remarks, audience members can engage in a Question and Answer session with Robarge.
This program is part of the National Security Forum Series and is co-sponsored with the Army Navy Country Club.
