ROA 2012 National Security Symposium A premier educational opportunity for service members from all branches of the Reserve component. This year's symposium features participation by senior political, industry, and military leaders with a strong focus on national security issues and future challenges facing Reserve Component leaders. Invited speakers include The Reserve Chiefs Hon. Leon Panetta, Secretary of Defense          Senator Richard Lugar, (R) Indiana General Martin Dempsey, Army Chief of Staff General David Petraeus, Director CIA Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld

JOPDS (Joint Officer Professional Development Seminar)
The first 2012 JOPDS program will run concurrently with the ROA National Security Symposium. Program specifics are being developed and will be posted here as soon as available. Special registration fees will apply to JOPDS attendees.
 
Over the past 22 years, several thousand young officers from all Reserve components have participated in these professional development programs. the JOPDS program provides:

• A joint services agenda focusing on professional growth
• Senior Officer Speakers and briefers from the Reserve components
• Mentoring and Networking Opportunities
• Exercises to challenge and sharpen leadership, communication and group dynamics skills 

Reserve Component EXPO
Join us for the Reserve Officers Association’s 27th Annual Reserve Component Expo. Running concurrently with the NSS, the Expo features industry and military organizations showcasing their newest products and services, including education, financial services, professional development, career management, technology, health and wellness, and more. EXPO access is included with all registration categories.

ROA 2012 National Convention
Open to ROA members;  this year's convention will decide several critical issues for ROA's future. Don't miss your chance to set the course of ROA's legislative agenda and present your voice in deciding the course of our association over the next year. The ROA convention runs concurrently with the National Security Symposium and Reserve Component Expo and convention registrants are welcome to participate in both at no additional charge.
