Hotel: Reservations are individual responsibility. Cancellations after 1 May incur first nights cancellation penalty. One night’s deposit required upon reservation. Substitutions for room reservations are permitted until 10 July to avoid no-show penalty.

ALL ROA REGISTRATIONS ARE VIA THE ROA WEB-SITE ONLY and ARE A GROUP (US DELEGATION) REGISTRATION. ROA WILL WIRE TRANSFER FUNDS TO THE HOST NATION ROA ON BEHALF OF US CIOR/CIOMR REGISTRANTS. REGISTRATION COSTS COVER CIOR REGISTRATION AND DO NOT INCLUDE HOTEL REGISTRATION.
Hotel Reservation Information
The 2012 CIOR/CIOMR Congress will take place at the Tivoli Congress Center in the Vesterbro section of Copenhagen. The Congress Center and the Tivoli Hotel are 1.3 km from the main railway station which, in turn, is across the street from the famous Tivoli Garden amusement park. The 4-star Tivoli Hotel opened two years ago. It was built on property that the Danish State Railways no longer needed and is next to the Copenhagen waterfront. US officers must register through ROA, preferably through the website at www.roa.org. Do not register directly through the CIOR website (www.cior.net) or the CIOMR website (www.ciomr.net) although you are free to review these websites for information on the program.
The Danish organizers have arranged the special rates shown on hotel reservation form available below. ROA has designated the Tivoli Hotel as the US hotel for this Congress.
In addition to the Tivoli Hotel, the organizers selected the 2-star Wakeup Hotel as an alternative. It should be noted that this property, about a year older than the Tivoli, has much smaller rooms with little storage space available. The ensuite bathroom is separated from the rest of the room by a transparent partition.

These videos are in Danish, but you can get an idea of how the two properties are located right next to each other. That is an advantage as August is the rainiest month in Copenhagen. You can walk between the properties through the parking garage.
In completing the hotel reservation form note that only hotel stays between 28 July and 5 August are guaranteed to be at the Congress rate. The reply you will receive from In Touch A/S will give you room rates for additional nights outside these dates if available.
Send your hotel reservation form by email to: CIOR@intouch.dk or fax to 011 45 70 27 27 21. You can reach the In Touch company by phone 011 45 70 27 27 20. There is no mailing address so use email or fax.
In Touch will reply with instructions on how to pay your one-night deposit by credit card. The hotel balance can be paid at checkout. Any cancellations after 1 May will be charged for the first night. However, until 10 July, you may be able to avoid this no-show penalty if you find someone else to take your room.
