The STARs Foundation recognizes the extraordinary sacrifices made by our nation’s Reservists and their families and celebrates the dedicated service of our men and women in uniform and honors those who have gone beyond public service through extraordinary contributions to our national security.

2017 Nathan Hale Corporate Patriot Award

The Nathan Hale Corporate Patriot Award is presented to a corporation and its senior leadership committed to serving our nation, military veterans, and Reserve Force. The corporation recognizes the value of today’s military, both active duty and Reserve Force and strives to meet the needs of its military veteran employees and their families.

2017 Reserve “Sentry” Spotlight

Recipients of the Reserve Sentry Spotlight are serving Reservists who embody the true values of the citizen warrior in their military and civilian lives.  Recipients display courage, dedication, determination, and a desire to improve their community – they inspire others to be more or do more.  Spotlight nominees are recommended from ROA departments and chapters, the Reserve community, and the Reserve Chiefs of the United States.

Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Reserve Officers Association STARs Foundation, a membership organization of patriotic individuals and corporations who Stand Together for America’s Reservists. The 501(c)(3) organization supports the work of ROA to enhance the security of the nation by sustaining a strong Reserve force and supporting the citizen warriors and their families who volunteer to serve and sacrifice for our country –in training, on the battlefield, in the workplace, and at home.
