Greetings

I would like to invite you to the department of Georgia annual convention. Our meetings will be held at the Dobbins Consolidated Club at Dobbins Air at Dobbins, ARB, Ga. 30060. Speakers have been selected to present info to enlighten you on the challenges DOD is facing and provide us real time info to guide our input to the national ROA. The Georgia Veteran Services Administration will provide an update on the changes to services in the state and we will be getting briefing from the national headquarters to mention a few of the presentations.

Dobbins Consolidate Club has been reserved 18 and 19 May to host the state convention. In light of this I contacted Dobbins housing to reserve rooms for members outside the metro area. To provide a forum to discuss issues and gain consensus on mutual concerns we will kick off the convention with an ice breaker on Friday the 18^th at the club from 7 – 9 p.m. light hors d'oeuvres and complimentary cocktails have been included in the registration. Continental breakfast, lunch and breaks on Saturday the 19^th will be included in the registration fee so we can maximize time for discussion.

Remember ROA is charted by congress to be its voice on matters that guide its legislation for guard and reserves. In preparation for your attendance be prepared to present matters that concerned you whether active or retired member of the uniform services. Registration will be in three formats

$20.00 if you will only be to the ice breaker on Friday

$25.00 if you will only be able to attend the convention on Saturday.

$45.00 for both.
