Department of New Hampshire awards consist of parchment certificates mounted on walnut plaques with the respective medals. We make a concerted effort to attend as many of these as possible. The earlier you submit your request, the more likely one of our departmentcommittee members can schedule attendance to present the awards in person, which we prefer to do.

We believe in the value of these programs. They teach valuablecurriculum as well as develop camaraderie, team work, civic responsibility & leadership, and self discipline which are core values fostered by these programs. Only a small percentage of JROTC candidates ever enter military service. However, if they decide to consider the military after high school, JROTC experience provides some distinct advantages.
